Prepare yourself to be blown away by the amazing show put on by the Red-spectacled Parrots in Urupema. Only in this time of year, they gather by the thousands in mind-boggling flocks while they go from one patch of Araucaria Pine Trees to the other. Certainly, a natural event that every human being should see in their lifetime. Besides this special moment, there are many other great south Brazilian endemics such as Paraná Antwren, Restinga Tyrannulet, Kaempfer’s Tody-Tyrant, Scaled Chachalaca and many more. Not to mention the delicious cuisine and breathtaking landscapes that you will see along the way. Difficulty level: medium. In most of the places there is very little walking. On 2-3 days of the trip there will be longer hikes that do not exceed 6km. Not a photo tour but there are very good photo opportunities throughout the trip. Despite a few longer drives, the 2-nighters in most of the locations will keep us well rested
