The beautiful Blue-eyed Ground-Dove. In the areas we visit on this route, you will have the chance to visit good, preserved patches of caatinga habitat (Montes Claros and Peruaçu), here you will see many Brazilian endemic caatinga specialists and you will also visit some areas of Cerrado and Campo Rupestre in Botumirim, changing completely the set of birds you will encounter.

Difficulty level: This tour is classified as medium to level due to the long and steep hike in Botumirim required to look for the Cipo Canastero and Hyacinth Visorbearer. The other areas we bird in are easy, and we do not need to walk much. The weather is hot and dry, so be prepared to face high temperatures, make sure to stay hydrated, take breaks, and rest during the time we will give you.
